A bit about me
My name is Nicole Conley and I have been infatuated with cats ever since I was a little girl. I was born and raised in San Diego. I got my first kitten when I was 6 years old. I have had a cat in my life ever since. When I was 16, I started to volunteer for the San Diego Animal Rescue. I fostered and took in hundreds of cats, kittens, and pregnant mamas. A lot of times these cats were found on the streets and in desperate need of care. It brought me great pleasure and fulfillment in the role I played in helping them. So much so, I decided to make a career out of it. I went to college for a degree in Animal Health Technology, where I graduated. I was then able to sit for my boards and received my veterinary technician license. I have been working with cats for ten plus years now. Although I am a new registered Cattery, I have been around and taken care of cats for a long time. Read more about my journey on my blog.
What started me on my cat breeding journey?
As I stated previously I have always had a cat in my life. Recently I lost my companion Beau. He was a silver spotted bengal. Beau was with me through a lot of big moments in my life - from my first apartment, to my engagement, marriage, and all our moving around. As well as, my journey through pregnancy, and the birth of both my children. I took him with me to a lot of different places and on lots of adventures. He was such an amazing, beautiful, adventurous, and well mannered boy. I want other people to have the opportunity of sharing in this special bond with a cat, like my sweet Beauzzy. So, I decided to breed them in honor of him. I felt this is where my next step has led me. As crushed as I am over the loss of Beau, I feel everything happens for a reason, and this is where his life has led me. I am now in a place in my life to be able to make my passion for this breed a reality. I cant wait to share these special cats with you and become an advocate for them and those alike.
