They require a safe environment free of loose strings, dangerous plants, cords, etc. They need space to climb, play, run, jump, and scratch. Unexpected accidents can happen and you should be prepared for vet bills and consider pet insurance. You and your family members must be ready to bring a new member into your home and love them for a long time.
